Christian Education

This committee oversees activities such as Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Day Camp, Adult Christian Education and the Church Library. Meets the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:30 pm.

Evangelism

The Evangelism committee is involved with advertising and promoting activities at Morningside Lutheran, as well as ministries such as Alpha, C.A.R.E. Disciples, and Small Groups.

Finance

The Finance committee oversees the church budget and approves all funding requests for the church. The Endowment and Benevolence committees are also housed under the Finance committee. Meets the 2nd Monday of the month at noon.

Carolyn Rippke

Lay Ministry

This committee is involved with the planning of all worship and music activities of the congregation, including all choirs and worship bands. Meets the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:30 pm.

Jim Grabouski

Multicultural

The Multicultural committee oversees the multicultural ministry of Morningside Lutheran, specifically with immigrants from Asian countries and the 11:00 am Multicultural worship service.

Parish Fellowship

The Parish Fellowship committee oversees activities pertaining to fellowship of the congregation, including Rally Day, New Member Reception, and the Pictorial Directory. Meets the 1st Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm.

Mark Corbin

Property

This committee is involved with building and grounds maintenance around the church and oversees the Spring Clean-up Day. Meets the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:30 pm.

Sherri Johnson

Social Concerns

The Social Concerns committee is involved with areas of ministry that assist others in need, such as MLC's Food Pantry, Penny-a-Meal, Thanksgiving Food Sacks, and Prison Ministry. Meets the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:30 pm.

Kris Weeks

Youth

The Youth committee oversees activities involving the Middle School and High School youth, including Confirmation, PowerLine, Recharges, Mission Trips, and other youth leadership and fellowship events. Meets the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:30 pm.
