Special Events
Winter Program
The children perform a winter program and all family members and friends are welcome to attend.
Open House
An open house is held each fall and sprint. The spring open house provides an opportunity for advance enrollment for the following school year, for present and prospective preschoolers.
Field Trips
Occasionally, educational and developmentally appropriate field trips may be scheduled. There may be a fee assessed for some of these field trips. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to provide alternate arrangements for the day if the child is not participating in the event. Parents/Guardians will be notified prior to each activity.
Morningside Lutheran Preschool periodically asks for parent/guardian volunteers to drive for field trips. All volunteers must be fully insured, licensed drivers and must have and use one car seat (or booster, depending on Iowa law) for each child.
